I advocate for the user experience.

Welcome to my studio!

I am a designer, thought-partner, educator, and artist. I have practiced design for over 35 years.

I've worked with fortune 500 companies, start-ups, non-profits, and in academia. My focus has always been a desire to explain information clearly so that your customer has a good experience with your content.

I practice design to promote clarity. I also practice design to do good. Doing good, from my perspective, is giving your customers clear information, so they can learn, understand, and feel confident in their new knowledge. When your customers successfully engage in your information, the opportunity to strengthen your connection to them grows.

If you are seeking someone to partner with you to think about how to achieve your information design objectives, and to help you get it done, you've come to the right place.

Operations Manager,

McDonald's Corp.

In the event my current role
were to require me to work on similar projects Rita would be my first choice.  She is a pleasure to work with and I would strongly recommend her when considering Design and Planning projects.

Former Director,

The Source for Learning

She questions well to hone the project mission, listens carefully for nuance of an organization’s culture and priorities. Her role as user interface designer, visual designer, and project manager helped us to clarify and accomplish our project goals on time and on budget.
I’d work with Rita again ANY time on ANY project!

Development Leader,

Deloitte Services LP

She is a creative designer who works closely with her clients to understand their needs and lead them to excellence. I have never worked with someone with such strong and genuine good character, great communication skills, excellent teaming and deliverables I was proud to use.
